Karen Woods

Managing Director Karen Woods knows the South. She has worked in journalism, public relations and training in the region for more than 20 years.

She has reported on everything from the death of Princess Diana to the miners strike during her years as a radio journalist.

Now, she advises on media relations, communications and public relations for a wide range of companies and organisations across both the public and private sectors.

Karen was founder Head of News for the regional radio station Wave 105 and News Editor at Capital Radio’s Ocean FM and Power FM (now Heart and Galaxy). She has twice been a judge for the Sony Radio Awards and has served as a non-executive director for the NHS, and Chair of Governors at Highbury College, Portsmouth.
